Don't ever give up trying to solve a problem. I have been fighting a problem on a m-h 44g that was like a ghost. I tried everything. Finally a dug a old carbutator out of a box of extra parts, intending to clean it good and have it overhauled. After a real close look I found a jet in the old carb. that was not there in the one on the tractor! Moral of the story? If anyone else has done work on your tractor before you, there is a chance that they made a mistake that may not be easy to find. Have patience, and don't ever give up. The old girl will reveal her secrets sooner or later. Thanks to all who have replied to all of my crying messages.
