My brother just bought MF202, for $2000 at an auction on saturday. I think he got a good deal. It has a backhoe and front end loader. Tires have no tread and the contential motor smoke badly, but everything works. What I need to know is what year model is it? It looks like the back hoe unbolts in four places, did this tractor ever have a 3 point for it. Lastly is the pto live?

Serial number is JGF 310032

Thanks

I just bought a MF 203 with a 100 front end loader and a three point hook up pto driven backhole the motor runs good and i was told it has 300 hrs on an engine rebuild, and paid 3500.00 for and was glad to get it. sounds like your brother got an great deal. I live in oklahoma and good used tractors with back holes and loaders that are not just wore out are real hard to find. i was told I could sell the loader and the three point back hole off of it and and get my money back and still have the tractor, but more likely my kids will be fighting over it when I die cause I have no plans to sell it. some body email if you have any info on the industrial 203 thanks chad

According to your serial number
J-denotes Industrial
G-denotes Gas Engine
F-denotes Single Plate Clutch
the first serial number in the range was 300,793. Also the parts manual was dated 5/66.
Hope this info helps.

I have a MF203 with a front loader, 3 point and pto. The MF202 is the same as a MF203 except the 203 has a 3 cyl. Perkins Diesel. I purchased mine several years ago for $2,200 and have used it without any major problems. There are two more models in the 200 series the MF204 and MF205 they were equiped with Reverser Transmissions. If you have specific questions I have a parts book for these tractors. Sam

Looks like yours is a late 64 model according to Big Deans Industrial Specs. Tractor is similar to MF 35 except built heavier with better Powersteering system. Internal pump and hydraulics, 3-point setup and pto shaft are suposed to be the same as MF 35. You may already have PTO depending how hydraulics for the backhoe are driven. Congradulations $2000 sounds like a good deal for your tractor.

Think the 202 is about 1959 to 64, others would know exact year. Yes mine has a 3pt and they came that way. the pto may be live if yours has a dual clutch, mine has a single clutch.

Is the a way you could send me a picture of your machine? Would like to see how the backhoe mounts
looking for one myself. 2000 is a good deal
