I purchased a MF 35 Special Delux and can not find the age of this tractor. It was produced in Muskegon Michigan, has a Z134 Motor, with the Serial No. 735896. If someone can point me to a site that has serial numbers listed in this range, I would be greatly appreciative.

Rock, I assume you ae referring to the engine serial number. If you log on to www.montesequipment.com/, you can send Jerry Moons an e-mail message with the make and model of your tractor and the engine SN. He can tell you the year and month your Continental engine was built. That will give you a clue as to what year your tractor was built.

Hi Rock... is this the serial number on the dash of tractor just to the left of the steering wheel or the number on the motor?

Useing the "Fergie Family" book as a reference, the Special was different from the Deluxe models but their serial numbers were ran together. The last SN# was under 210,000 and made in early 1961. I have a Deluxe with the serial # 204600 and it is a 1960. Does yours have a dual clutch, Live PTO and Live Hydraulics?

Are you sure the first digit isn't a 2 not a 7?
