MF50 Power Steering questions

I have a MF 50 that doesn't seem to have enough travel for the valve to work properly. The Ps will move the wheels from side to side if you manualy push and pull the valve but the travel does not seem to be enough to get a good smooth steer out of it with the steering wheel. I have bottomed out the adjusting screw and backed it off the 7 turns as directed in the manual and the adjustment linkage connecting the valve to the steering body doesn't have any slop in it. I don't know if there is another adjustment I am overlooking or not.

Also does anyone have NAPA part number for that PS filter? Also while searching the archives I discovered what may have happened to my fluid. Someone said it drained down into the crankcase. Is this a common problem and is there a seal kit or something I need to get to fix it.

Thanks in advance.
