Good thing that there was nobody operating the tractor when it rolled. While you're at it why not install a roll bar, I have heard that Massey Ferguson sells them at cost and they are available for the 35.

Peter;
Do you have any more info on the ROPS for the 35? I thought Massey Ferguson was no longer in
business- might you be referring to Agco? Thanks
for any info you have.
Roger

Where are you located? I am in Northern Ontario and I spoke to my local Massey Ferguson dealer and they said that they can get a ROPS for the 35. A few years back John Deere started selling ROPS for their older tractors at cost and most of the other manufacturers now offer them as well. The 35 is back in production as well, they are being made in India now. I don't think the quality is the same as the ones made in North America but I'm sure that the ROPS meets our standards and is probably cheap so that may be another way to get one but try Massey Ferguson, they must have a dealer somewhere in your area.

Wow! Sounds like he lucked-out...
With manual steering, the pitman arms mesh with
the steering shaft and must be removed first. How
they mesh is critical, so if they're not marked,
do so before pulling them out. With power
steering, the piman arms must also be removed and
the control valve needs to come out, too. This
valve has lots of small parts that can fall out,
so be careful. I just went through this on my
TO-35. If you havn't already, I'd highly recommed
getting the MF service manual. Take it slow and
good luck.
