Does anyone know how to get the selector valve out of the power steering housing to replace the O rings? The local dealer said to remove both hoses and insert a tool (like a seal pick) in the hole to prevent the valve from turning and then unscrew the valve. I have tried that without any luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tom/Idaho

I replaced the O-rings in mine and it was sure no fun! I don't remember taking any hoses off though. I would suggest getting your hands on a copy of an original service manual. Any Massey dealer will be able to get you one. They are just Massey photocopies of the old ones. Generally, I find the MF65 manual is lousey. But it is pretty good describing how to change those little O-rings in the power steering unit. Good luck.
