Well, the Twin-Power feature was almost a "no-cost" feature that Massey incorporated into many of their tractors from that era. Basically, when you shifted the transmission into the "B" position on the shifting platform, this activated a control-rod that ran between the front of the tranny and the governor. When the rod was moved (either forward or backwards, I don't remember which), it somehow caused the RPM maximum setting on the governor to be bypassed or raised for belt work (hence the "B" designation). Thus, for beltwork, the engine could operate at a higher RPM than for plowing, etc. Interesting also was the fact that the same thing happened when you shifted the tractor into 4th gear or "roadgear", for driving at a higher speed down a road, etc. Most of the Twin Powers I've seen are missing the long linkage rod between the front of the tranny and the governor so the feature doesn't kick in on those.
