Make no mistake about it, the 165 is twice the tractor the 35 is. We have had both and don't think you can compare the 35 to a 165. The 50 is a nice tractor also, but again the 165 is a lot more machine. What type of work are you expecting from your tractor?

The MF50 was built from 1958 to 1965 they came with a Z134 Continental 32 HP engine. or they also came with the early one had A3-152 regular injection diesel & the later one had AD3-152 direct injection diesel engines they had about 38 HP The MF165 was built from 1964 to 1975 they had either a G176 Continental gas 46 HP. or a Perkins AG4-212 gas 51 HP. or the AD4-203 Perkins diesel with 52 HP. I guess you could say they were a large version of the MF135 but a lot more tractor.

Thanks Big Dean. They are both diesels. The 50 would not start. Dead battery. I didn't have the time to let'em jump it off. The 50 size wise would more suit me. The 165 ran perfect, just needed paint. Does the 50 have live lift and pto? Thanks again!!!!! !! Hunter
