Saw an ad in the paper for a Massey 50. I called the number and the fellow told me it was a Massey Harris 50. I happen to have an old operators manual for a Massey Ferguson 50. Which is the better tractor (if there is a difference)? What is a reasonable price? Can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

I saw one of the Massey Harris 50's sell at an auction this morning, it had a two-stage clutch, the hi-lo tranny, gas engine, but no PS. It sold for $1850.

I worked on them for 27 years the only difference I know of is the sheet metal & name.
