Some tractors have the same engine but different horsepower ratings. Is this done by different adjustments of the injector pumps? Can pumps be adjusted for more power? Does this have to be done at a dealership? I have a MF 283 with the 248 cid. engine.

most of the time the injectors are differnt to get more hp and the pumps can be changed or they run a turbo.the pumps can be turned up but the one doing it should know what they are doing not
