Have a small farm, so I use small tractors. Love my little A-C Model B; love my little Farmall Cub; love my little Kubota. Looking for a good excuse to buy a little M-H Pony. Looks like it would be a fun tractor to own.

Questions:
1. What kind of hitch system does the Pony have?
2. What kind of PTO does it have?
3. How about hydraulics?
4. Seen them advertised here in NC for about $1,000 - $1,200 in "Good" condition with belly mower. What else are they good for?
5. What kind of implements are commonly available?
6. Are parts readily available?

Any comments on my choice?

Thanks for any input.

Go buy it, you need it.
The hitch system is unique to the Pony.
PTO is located at the rear of the transmission with both side and rear output shafts.
Hydraulics are limited to a single cylinder located beneath the brake pedals, witch all implements via a convoluted (Rube Goldberg) set of rods.
Plowing snow, pushing dirt, land plowing, disking, cultivating, mowing, and would you believe, there was even a loader made for Pony. Ponys can also pull real good.
Implements, see above
Parts, well, would you define readily. So, GO BUY IT!

Massey also made a Pony forklift.

That's something I've never seen. I have seen a few Farmall Cubs set up with a forklift, and "reversed" controls. The guy who set that up definitely had a strange concept of convenient.
Have you got a pic of a Pony with a forklift setup on it?
