I recently purchased what I was told is a MF35 the serial number is TEA 433 110, I would like to do some maintenace such as oil change plugs etc on it but am unsure of what model I have. I am also not sure where the oil filter is, would it be located on the left side of the block in front of the starter? Thanks

You have a TEA-20 made in England and fitted with a standard petrol engine. The serial No. indicates it was made in 1955 as thay begain that year at 428093 to 488573. I have the same but built in 1949, I allso have the origanal instruction book. Am having a problem with sending attachments at the moment, but when fixed I can scan any infomation from it if it would be of help.

PS anyone out there requires the same info on serial no. just e-mail me, I have all no. for TE-20, FE35, MF35s and MF65

Hi Guys, I have a TEA 20, but can not find the serial number on the tractor, only on the engine block??Also, do you know why the transmission would leak through a hole near the flywheel at the bottom when I get to 12 litres of oil in the transmission? Also the clutch slips at full pulling power, it seems to be grabbing slightly now too. Also the rear tray seems to slowley drop when the PTO engager is turned off, worse since I changed the trans oil, I put a 20-40 grade oil in there, only got to 3 four litre caskets of oil in it,then it leaks from the hole i mentioned.Last question, do you agree with using water ballest in the rear wheels? I heard that the rear tyres only need 12 psi, correct?I put 30 psi in the front.
Any response or help much appreciated.
Many Thanks
Matthew
