What would be a good older ferguson to move large round hay bales with? thanks

The other tractors suggested would definatly do the job. On the other hand a good 180 or 165 would do the job as well. I have used my small 135 to move them as well but its a little on the small size, but you can't tell it that :o).

I agree, the 1100 is a good all around size. Plenty of power and plenty of weight.

I agree that the 1100 makes a good loader tractor, been using one for years. You might also look at 1080 or 1085. You can't go wrong with a good MF. imho Drill
