I'm looking for a mid size tractor, and I was wondering if anyone has any info on these tractors.
Size? Age? PTO? 3PT? Good or bad?
The 35 is a diesel with FEL for $1500, the 44 is $4400, and the 130 is $3900 all in Can dollars.

MF 35 diesel: 1963-1964, 153 cu. in. Perkins 37 pto hp, pto yes, 3pt yes, serial number on dash.

MF 130: 1966-1972, 107 cu. in. Perkins diesal 27 pto hp, pto yes, 3pt yes, serial number on dash panel.

44 must be a Massey-Harris: 1946-1955, several different models, engines and hp's (39 to 50). pto some models, 3pt I don't think so?? serial number rear left-hand side of tractor frame forward of the transmission case.

Year of tractor can be found by using serial number and for MH 44 model of tractor also would help.

The MF 35 had the A3-152 diesel engine maybe from 1959 or so. Before that the MF 35/FE 35 had the 23C diesel engine.

The A3-152 engine had 37 hp in 1961 (flywheel hp.) and 35 hp on the PTO. Both ratings @2000 rpm.

The 152 in A3-152 stands for engine displacement, 152 cubic inches. All older Perkins engine has this. The 3 stands for cylinder numbers, 3 for 3 cylinder. A4-203 stands for 4 cylinder, 203 cu. in.

Early A3-152 engines had chrome sleeves, and later cast iron. The chrome sleeves is hard to wear out. I am restoring one MF 35 right now, and there is extremely little sign of wear. Never been opened before, means 37 years old.

All Perkins at least older engines has dry sleeves, while the Continental engines has wet sleeves.

MF 35:
Hydraulic lift capacity is 1150 kg (2533 lbs).

Tractor weight is 3200 lbs.

Bore on the A3-152 is 3.6" stroke 5"
