I am considering buying
Massey Ferguson 202 industrial. Seized engine.
PTO and loader good. Asking $2500 (Canadian)
I saw this ad and went to see the tractor.
The owner said that he had been using it and it quit. It turned slightly when he tried to start it but seized solid. He took the starter
off and it is seized.
It has 2840 hours - the loader is heavy duty,
the seat was off and he said he had it.
Any ideas on what might be wrong with the motor ?
With 2840 hours does this indicate that the rest of tractor is worn out ?
What would you pay for this tractor ?
Would it worth trying to find a used engine ?
Any comments appreciated.

I just bought a 204 with a loader, in good owrking order for $1700 CDN...dealers say i got a screaming deal. they say the going rate for one in working order with a loader is $3500-$4500 CDN
