I got an MF tractor as part of a farm I bought. I think it is a T0 20 model, made in Detroit with a serial number of about 30,000. It does have a maroon hood and a gray body/motor but I read that these were supposed to be all gray. Could have been repainted I guess, but any ideas on this?

Can you get front loaders for these? Any idea of the cost and installation difficulty or even where I might find one?

If you don't have to lift the load up very high and just need to move loose material from one place to another, might consider a rear scoop. You would be surprise how much you can move with one of these.

George-

The serial number you have could be a 1950 or a 1951 Ferguson TO-20. The 1950 serial numbers were 14660-39162, and the 1951 serial numbers were 39163-72679. All these tractors were painted gray. You could have ordered these tractors with a loader from the dealer but they were difficult to steer with a heavy load because of no power steering. Your tractor is also a Ferguson and not a Massey-Ferguson. Check out the Harry Ferguson board for lots of info. Good luck with your tractor.
