The Three Point hitch on my 55 TO 35 will only raise, and with about 300 pounds on it it will start to lower, I have been told that the control in the pump (a check ball?) is stuck and can be fixed by shocking the system, If anyone has any Ideas as to how to fix this without splitting the tractor(already did it once this winter to replace clutch fingers) please leave a post here or e-mail
me at [email protected]

Also, I cant bring the tractor below 800 rpm, I know I have to re-adjust the linkage, but first need to find out the settings for my carter ut carb, and why when I move the throttle lever past either side of the tractormeter it springs open to about 1600 rpm, I figure its a spring in the wrong position, but I would like a second opinion before i rip it apart.
