first time on this board, i have a 3165 MF with a continental 4 cyl gasoline engine. i pulled the oil pan to check the rod bearings. i found that the oil pick up tube and screen would pivot. the screen actually apears to lay on the bottom of the oil pan. all other oil pick up screens that i have worked on have been stationary or in a fixed position. could'nt this metal on metal pivot suck air since there is no seal? there is also what appeaers to be a "high stop tab" . has any one seen this before? thanks roy from victoria texas
