I have bought a couple of old tractors this year and each one has come with a MF 2 bottom plow. The plows are identical to each other and seem to be a copy of the dearborne model. Could someone tell me if there is a model name or # assossiated with this plow as I would like to find out if new coulters etc. can be ordered for it.
I am assumming that these were produced by the thousands and someone will know what I am looking for.
Thanks in advance.... R Spence

Robert: If the beams are round like a Dearborn's or Ferguson, Then you may have a Model 62 plough, and yes, they were produced by the thousands and were a direct descendant of the Ferguson plough. Good for light to moderate ploughing at shallow depths and not too fast. Not a heavy duty unit, but capable of lots of work. Talk to an older MF partsman or see an outfit like TSC.

Sorry , I re-posted a message above about the MF model 62 before I read your post.
This is indeed what I have and would like to know if parts are available.
Thanks for your post..... R Spence
