The pressure relief valve on my 135's hydraulic system had evidently frozen stuck and did not operate. I was using a scrape blade and accidentally raised the control lever to constant pump. This resulted in the lift cylinder getting too much pressure and cracking. My son and I have already replaced the cylinder , and the faulty relief valve. We also installed a new suction screen and changed the oil as well. We had a little trouble getting the pump to pick up the oil afterward. I attached a pipe to the external attachment port and forced some oil into the pump with air pressure. The pump then primed and started working. The lift works . However there is a lot of jerking and pulsing going on when the lift is raised. What is causing this? Is it air in the system? The lift has never had this problem before. I need advice. Please email or post any suggestion you may have. Thanks Marvin

well marvin I have just finished replacing the pump in my own 135. It seems that your trouble is the pump itself. this was what started me investigating my pump, it was slow and very jerky
also when I went to lift a full box of sand it would not lift it. if this is the trouble and you decide to fix it you"d better be the tidiest person in the workshop because if one crumb gets inside you will be in big trouble. test your tractor by lifting about 100Kg and if it is slow and is knocking this is your problem. Knocking pumps are f***ed. if pump needs doing get the kit to replace the rings and sleves and the valves

Good luck marvin and let me know how you get on.
