Hi can someone give me the 411 on this. I read two different capacities for the Perkins engine. 6.3qrts and 7.5qrts depending on the specific Perkins engine you have. One is a 192ci and the other a 202ci. I am not sure exactly which engine is stock to a 1959 MF 65. I suspect the smaller ci engine was the early and the large the later. If this is true according to what I have read it should be 6.3qrts but when I put in it was low on the dipstick. Barely touching the low mark. I installed 7qrts and it seemed to be just shy of halfway between the two marks. I started by filling the new oil filter first so not to have a dry start up. Also I used Rotella 15w-40. Anyone see any issue with that? Thanks
Robert

To the best of my knowledge, the 192 engine was used in the UK but not the US. Some of the UK tractors were probably imported to Canada and some of them may have crossed into the US. If your tractor was built here, it should have the 203 engine.
