Need Info on MF135 Seat

My Dad has a MF 135 on which the seat has rusted out. He would like to replace it--where should one begin the search? Are there any on-line suppliers of these types of parts? There is no longer a local MF dealer--closest one is about an hour away... Also, any cost estimates or alternatives to a new seat would be appreciated.

CT (888-8CT-FARM) and Shoup (800-627-6137) show seats. Not cheap.

When my floating seat rusted and threatened to dump me off the back, I removed the remains and mounted a couple large (4x4") pieces of angle iron on the lower seat frame with spacers to make a platform and I bolted a boat seat to that deck. Works fine and since I had the angle on hand the cost was small.

Northern also handles universal tractor seats.
