While I was at the M-F dealer yesterday I noticed a MF65 they were repairing. When I asked what was wrong with it they explained someone attached a chain to the top link to try and pull out a stuck pickup. Miraculously the driver was thrown clear. Now thats luck. Most people don't get to try this twice. A reminder to only attach the load to the drawbar and always use safety stays. EEA

Re: Re: Re: MF 135 Hydraulics (no response at all) in reply to Dr Who, 03-15-1998 20:50:47
I have a MF235 and when you raise the the hydrolics at the time when it peaks it won't stop. Then it starts jerking in the hydrolics and I guess you would say banging or popping pretty loudly. Would that be the pin that controls the flow of hydrolic fluid. Meaning it is not closing properly due to corrosion possibly or other foreign matter. I had the same problem with a old Ford and I cleaned the pin and sleave and it cured the problem. Could this possibly be the same problem? Thank You....
