Recently bought a T-20 to mow 2 acres (flat) and do general work around the place. Need to know how big I can go on Bush Hog. I'll be mowing grass and some brush (small trees, etc) Any other suggestions welcomed.

I have used a 5' Woods Dixie Cutter for about 20
years on my TO-20 and it works great. I only starts
to labor on tall (3'), dense grasses. By the way,
be sure to get an overrunning pto clutch too. When
your PTO is engaged, your rear axle is connected
to it also and the blade's inertia will push you when you try to stop. You might also want check chains
for setting the height since the TO-20 only has
"draft" control (not "height") on its 3 point hitch.
Good Luck

My TO-20 runs a 5 ft. brush hog real well. I can cut grass in third gear.
And in first gear it will cut most anything I can run over. 5 ft. is the largest I would go.

Thanks for the advice Jim. I guess a 5 ft Bush Hog is what I'll get.
