Donald, Everyone has their own little tricks, but sometimes they're just plain rust-welded on. We had a 22 with the same problem. We took two 1 1/2 in rods, placed them horizontally: one above the axel, one below, on the back side of the hub. we then wrapped a chain around each end and placed a 12 ton horizontal piston jack on the end of the axel. After bringing the chain over the end of the jack, we then pumped until the jack stalled and then gave the hub a love tap. You run the risk of breaking it but heat and all manners of penatrating oils didn't help. We did this as a last resort. Anyway, we got lucky, and it moved a 32nd of an inch. Repeat process etc, etc, etc. (we had to go almost 6 inches)NOTE: often times there is a spring clip on the axel against the hub. It's round spring steel and was designed to help keep the hub on the axel (like THAT'S a problem) make certain it's off/gone before going any further. Hope this helps - ALAN
