Hello all, I'm hoping some one can fix me up, this is my first time posting btw, nice site. I have a Delco 10SI mounted, with my "batt" terminal connected to the ammeter, then to the starter solenoid. I have the #2 terminal going to the "Batt" terminal on the alternator with a short peice of #14 wire. Here's the problem, Where do I connect the #1 terminal to? The ignition switch only has 2 positions, "start" and "off". The only thing I can think of is to buy a new switch with a "run" post. Anywhere else I can find a switched power souce on this tractor? Thanks in advance.

The electrical switch on most Massey tractors is mounted on the back of the oil pressure guage, it is activaed by the engine oil pressure. Hope this helps. Drill

Thanks for the info. I am also hearing that connecting terminal #2 to the "Batt" terminal with a short wire will lead to premature alternator wear. Is this true? I've seen alot of set-ups done this way. Thanks again
