Adding Remote Hydraulics to MF 245

I'm considering adding remote hydraulics to my MF 245 Diesel and am having a heck of a time finding a place to mount the spool (control valve). I have a 2 spool Gresen valve that I would like to use. Taking a quick look at my owner's manual, I noticed a photo of a remote valve mounted between the seat and left fender over the axle. This location makes sense because I believe the tap into the hydraulic system is on the left side of the tractor as well. When I approached my local Massey dealer regarding ordering the special bracket for mounting the valve, they looked at my like I was nuts...they couldn't find anything in the parts book either.
I would appreciate some pointers or suggestions from anyone who has already done this, or a source to the correct parts for the addition.

The owner's manual shows the mounting bracket for the auxiliary hydraulic system. Several 245's have the auxiliary system which is a seperate system from the main hydraulic system. They were offered in single spool (2 remotes) or two spool (4 remotes). I have owned a 245 orchard model for several years, have the two spool auxiliary hydraulic system. This unit has the canister type hydraulic filter and hydraulic oil cooler. I have seen some 245's for sale in the past couple of years where the auxiliary hydraulic system had been removed. I was told by a tractor dealer that the units were removed and installed installed on newer tractors. What was so interesting about the removal, he didn't lower the sales price of the 245.

i have a model 245. the hydraulics are connected to the tractor on top of the transmission between the seat and shift lever. the mf dealers has a kit for this. if you ask the parts man he will give you a printout from his computer that shows how everything is put together. i got my external or remote setup from a tractor salvage place. the are several models that inter change. hope you get it going.

Thanks, seems like I remember a similar setup on an uncles 135 years ago. Looks like I need to find a better parts man....
I looked at that location for a while, but gave up on it because it seemed like my floating seat would hit the spool. Sounds like another visit to the dealer is in order.
