I had a guy a work today ask me about a Massey 22. He said the hydraulic tank for the three point is located in front of the radiator and there was a line from it the the engine block. He couldn't remember if there was one or two. He was wondering was it was for. He's got a parts tractor and the one on it was gone and plugged off. Is there a cooling line that runs through the tank to warm the oil? I'm a Case guy myself so I didn't know anything about his tractor. Thanks in advance Irv Slagter

There is a small breather line out the top of the
tank to the engine crankcase. The hyd. oil used origonaly was motor oil so a little burp of oil overflow wouldn't matter.

resivoir for hyd. is located forward of radiator. There are two lines connected to tank, line on the bottom connects to hyd. pump on side of engine, which is driven via timing gears. The second line is located about half way up on the tank, this is return oil from hyd. function, three point hitch,or any control valve(s).LUK 2 YA TAZ
