I have a 1962 MF35 with a 3cyl. Perkins diesel.
I just recently replaced the rear oil seal, and everything appeared to be successful, however after about a hour of running the seal began to leak again. I was wondering if it will stop after I run it longer or if I am going to have to go back in and redo. I feel that the reseal went well
are there any suggestions as to what might have gone wrong? Thanks Jeff

HELLO JEFF I WOULD THINK THAT YOUR REAR ENGINE SEAL IS OK.WHAT I WOULD CHECK IS THE PAN GASKET.THIS TRACTOR HAS A 4 PIECE PAN GASKET AND NORMALY LEAKS OUT THE REAR AND LOOKS LIKE A REAR ENGINE SEAL.ITS NOT TO BIG OF A JOB TO REPLACE. GOOD LUCK LANCE
