My tractor spluttered and stopped going up an incline while it was low on diesel. I put more diesel in but now it won't start. I am told that the fuel system needs bleeding but that means nothing to me. Can any one help or should I get an engineer to fix it?

Need a wire diagram for a 1 wire alternator. Went from a generator to a alternator. Can't get the amp gage to work. Replaced it ,still don't work.
This is a 135 diesel 12 volt tractor. Need some

Stephen, Loosen the fuel line to 1 injector and pump the fuel pump on the right side of your tractor. Do this until you see fuel running out of the line. Crank engine for a short time. If it doesn't start, repeat the process. don't grind the starter too long at 1 time. Heat will build up and ruin your starter. Good luck, and don't give up.

Thanks for the suggestions. Big Dean sorted me out and the tractor is running again.

When I ran mine out of fuel a while back, I took the air cleaner out and sprayed WD40 directly in the intake while spinning the engine, after filling the filter with the primer pump. It ran on the WD40 until it picked up fuel and ran on it's own. Seems to me that is a whole lot better on the starter.
