Have a gas TO-35, did a complete overhaul, cleaned out the fuel line, new carb, new universal filter; when start it up can see the fuel filter full, after a while see it emptying out and eventually starts stalling. When the filter is empty I unhook the fuel line and gas proceeds to gush out. All the while on 3/4 tank of gas. Any suggestions? Need Help.

1st possibility is the small screen in the bottom of the gas tank. It's a tube screen that sticks up into the tank about an inch. This has been a problem for many in the past. Also there is a screen on the top of some sediment bowls that can limit flow. Another thing to look for is if you're using rubber hose to feed your filter, if you have to work the filter into the hose, you can make a "flapper" over the end of the filter. This problem would stop/limit flow until filter is removed, Then gas will free flow. Good luck - ALAN
