I have Broken the exhaust elbow, and I am having trouble finding one. Does anyone know of an on-line store that stocks this item for a mf 165 gas (1966 model)?

I broke the "elbow" on my MF 35 Diesel and found it to be very expensive to replace. If I recall correctly, the dealer wanted over $200.00 for one. It was much cheaper to convert the system to a "belly" mount exhaust. This puts the exhaust at the area of the three point hitch rather than verticle in front of the operator.

I broke the same thing on my MF 50 diesel. The local tractor shop welded the thing good as new with some expensive nickel cast welding rods. Charge was $30.00. I believe the after market parts supplier TISCO has an update kit with upswept pipe and muffler, maybe in $60.00 range.
