I removed the neutral safety switch form my TO 35 today, and, it works, so, I'd like to hook it up, but, only one of the wires for it is there. It wouldn't be a problem, but, the ends that go into the switch aren't like anything I've seen before.... Does anyone have a source...

if your TO is like my MF 35 then it is a standard 16 ga. crimp style male bullet connector, held in by a small metal clip hope this helps

Chris, I'm pretty sure you're right. We had to replace the wires on Dad's a couple of years ago and I think that;s what we used. Evan, Try to protect the wire connections from water. They originally had a rubber protective boot and we've had corrosion problems once or twice in the past. We finally cleaned and lithium greased the connections, black RTV'd the cracks in the boot, and put "drip loops" in the wires just before they went in. So far so good. Hope some of this was useful - ALAN

That's a great idea, the lithium grease. There is another product which I have used. The product is called "Copper Coat", not the head gasket sealer, but a conductive paste used to help electrical conductivity. Should be avaliable from an electronics supply or an antique automotive restoration supply or maybe even a parts store.

I guess I'll pick up a couple of those today. Alan, I spent a good 10 minutes removing what was left of the boot from the switch, it looks like it melted on it. Maybe some lithium grease on the connections and seal them with RTV?
