help!!!!! . the rear drain plug on the trans/rear end fell out in the field. i've retraced the trail but cant find the plug. i have checked massey and have been told its a non-obtainable part, obsolete/ no longer available. does anybody have one ????? ??? i am currently running a 1/2" pipe plug but, this isnt the proper fit and i'm afraid it may loosen and drain the rear end/hydraulic pump and me not notice till real damage is done. any help in locating one will be greatly appreciated

These plugs were a standard type plug, they used a standard SAE thread. I tied to find one for a 135, no luck, used a hydraulic plug that had SAE threads. Can remember the size, but I think I used a 1" which is a No. 16 hydraulic fitting. Fine threaded bolts use the same threads. Hydraulic plugs are available, most auto stores that make hydraulic hose carry them in standard SAE threads. One good thing about the hydraulic fitting (plug), they use a o-ring which prevents leakage. I have seen an old spark plug used, but there was some leakage. Good luck hunting!!
