Hi, I was wondering that could someone help me to figure out something about our old Massey?
It was bought as new somewhere in the early sixties, but no-one seems to remember anything else of it. The hourmeter seems to be stopped at 2800hrs...so the actual, real reading is unkown. So, I was thinking that if someone could help me to figure out those numeric codes on the tractor.
In the gearbox reads: 189 459 M1
Under the seat says: 190 861 M1
On the left side of the rearend is: 183 253 M5
,and on the engine block 37/11280.
Does these codes say anything to you guys?

Look for a plate on the dash to the right of the steering wheel and below the throttle. There should be a serial number there. With that, we can learn several things about your tractor.
