I have a MF135 AD3-152 diesel (1965). Fuel gauge was'nt working so I ordered a new gauge and sending unit. I have a wiring diagram but cant seem to figure it out. The gauge has 3 terminals: 1 ground, 1 labeled B and 1 labeled T.
I assumed the B was battery and T was Tank..?
The sending unit has 1 terminal and then a ground wire that attaches under any one of the 5-6 screws that hold it to the tank. Still does'nt work. Its a 12volt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, The alternator or voltage regular not working can cuase the fuel guage not to work. If you replace the mechanical voltage regular with a electronic one the fuel guage will not work, been there done that. Bill

Hi again, This is assuming you have an alternator ( Massey calls it an AC gererator). If you have a operators guide there is a wiring diagram in it. Bill

Thanks a lot guys. The wiring under the dash was really in a mess. I used a diagram that Big Dean drew up that helped me locate the oil pressure switch (I had a wiring diagram from the manual and one that Paul pointed me to, but was unable to figure out what or where the oil pressure switch was!). I will keep that in mind about the voltage regulator, Bill. I ran a new wire to the oil pressure switch and my fuel gauge now works.
Thanks again,
Tim

I'm having the same trouble. Where can i find that oil pressure switch? It's called oil pressure sending unit in my diagram, they just don't tell me where it is

Tim - go to this site and look at the diagram on the left end of the bottom row. Hopefully this will help.
