When looking at the front of the tractor the left wheel is straight and the right wheel is angled in toward the tractor. So when I am driving it the front right wheel scuffs along. The tie rods are fine. What might the problem be and what do I need to do to correct this????? ?????
THANKS

Check your front wheel bearings. A loose bearing could cause the wheel to toe-in.

Richg: I suspect one of the steering arms is bent.
Compare arms side to side or better yet with another tractor to see if one looks bent. On my Pony the previous owner used the center steering pivot arm as a bumper and required removal, heating and straightening. After your parts are straight the toe-in may need adjusting using the threaded sleeves on the tie rods. Most tractors should have about 1/8 to 1/4 inch toe-in. When adjusting toe-in it is best to center the steering wheel in the center of travel to get equal turning left and right. Good Luck, Ken

The arms look fine from what I can tell. It's a 165, my neighbor thinks it is a spindle?

Jack it up and spin it, if the spindle is bent that bad it won't roll easily. Use a tape measure to measure the distance between the center of the front tires rib, middle front, to the center of the rib, middle back of the tires, adjust the adjusting sleeve on the tie rod to get the correct toe-in, which is the front of the tires at least an eight of an inch closer than the back of the tires. Just years of use, abuse could change the toe in.
