My brother-in-law owns a 1961 mf-35 and he is restoring it. He has a problem with the wiring of a small light that is mounted on a curved stem that protrudes from the dash just under and to the left of the steering wheel. We have found wiring diagrams for the tractor thanks to Big Dean, but none of them show this light.Question !!
Is this just a dash light or is it some sort of indicator light ( for generator )? or does it serve as a resistor or diode for another purpose.
by the way it is a 12 volt system and it is a diesel engine.Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Mark

Mark. On my TO35 that light is wired across(in parallel) with a load resistor that is in series with the glow plugs. The light comes on when you turn the ign. switch to the H (heater) position. It should extinguish after 30 sec. Hope this helps
