I have my TO 35 in shop class, and will be removing the front end and possibly starting at the engine tomorrow. Is there anything that I should watch for that isn't in the manual? I probably have rocker arm issues to deal with, but, is there anything else?
Evan

Ok, to make things a little clearer, it's a Z134, and it is being torn down for a total re-build, it has at least 12000 hours on it..... I am going to be pulling the engine tomorrow, and, I'll probably start tearing it down Monday. Evan

Evan,
If you have the Standard diesel I would put scribe marks on the sleeve inside the injection pump drive. You might also want to put scribe or locator marks on the cam gear and crank gear as a backup for the normal cam timeing procedure.
If you have the Continental Gas engine it is all pretty straight forward.

If you replace the main bearing inserts, be very very very sure that #3 goes in the correct way. There is an up and a down to that thing, and if you put it in the wrong way you will starve the lube to the rocker arm and you will not like the consequences.
