I can't drain the coolant fluid out of the block on my Perkins 3-cyl diesel (MF 35). I guess the channels are blocked inside the engine. What to do? I've tried flushing with water. Can I poke with a wire inside the drain hole? In which direction? Compressed air? Chemicals? Dynamite? Thanks for any suggestions.

Won't hurt a thing to poke a wire in the hole.
Just don't poke to much wire in and get it hung.
Shouldn't have to put in over a couple inches or use just a little compressed air. (not enough to damage hoses or radaitor) (^_^)
