Hydraulic Control Lever Basics

Basic questions for 3-pt. hitch lever controls. What is correct position of draft (right) and position (left) levers in relation to each other for:

1. Operating bush-hog where only rear tire of deck touches the ground.
2. Operating finishing mower where entire weight of mower deck is supported by four wheels.
3. Operating rear blade for leveling and clearing.
4. Operating tiller unit

Hammer,

1. Bush hog use position!

2. Since unit has wheels to keep from scalping I would think that draft would work!

3. Blade would use position or draft depending on how much cut you would want! If your trying to cut then draft! If you want to drag and move gravel on a drive then either may work! Just try until you get the results you think you want!

4. Tiller= draft control!

At least that's the way I think it should go!
