I have a Mf 65 gaoline and busted the crank shaft in half. The cranks are expensive and wondered if the diesel engines would bolt up to the tractor. Any one ever tried this, if so is it cost effective.

I have never tried to swap out the engines on a MF65. I have done it on MF35s MF135s. On them there is some spacers that go between the front support & the engine you have to have. I don't remember them being on the MF65. The fuel tank will have to have a port installed in it for the fuel return line or even better is to get a diesel tank from a salvage. I see no reason why it would not work on the MF65 also.

Sounds like a question for big Dean. If he sees the post I am sure he can tell you.
