Does the Delco distributor and starter bolt in place of the Lucas equipment on a TE 20 tractor? I have alot of trouble with the starter bendix and can not locate new ones. I would like to replace the entire starter with something more reliable. Any sugestions?

There is no problem with changing the distributor, but to change the starter from Lucas to Delco, you also have to change flywheels. The ring gear on the flywheel is on the front side of the flywhhel for one starter and it is on the back side of the flywheel for the other.

I have a tractor with a Lucas distributor. I can't get the miss out of it. Is that why people change the distributor?

Are you all absolutely sure that the Delco parts fits on a UK Standard engine on a TEA 20 ?

It is no problem finding all ignition parts, and starter parts for the Standard engine.
