Was digging w/3-point post hole digger and after about 3 holes had no down force on the auger. Had plenty of up force to raise the digger, but only down force was due to the weight of the unit. Did something change or break? What do I look for to troubleshoot? This is the first time I have actually tried to use the hydraulics in this manner. Appreciate any help.

Masseys do not have down pressure. The weight of the digger is all you need. When the auger bits it should go down. Use the position control leaver pushed all the way down. Be ready to stop the PTO if the auger hangs under a rock or root or it will screw tractor and all in the ground.
