Anyone out there pull a 22? If so how light have you been able to get it? (Get in a 2750 lb class?) What did you have to remove to get that light? Do they have enough power to be competitive? I ask because ours moves pretty good even in 1st gear? Thanks JK

I pull a 46 model 81. It's the original smaller
MH. The lowest I can get into with my 190lbs is
the 3000 lb class but I always did a little better
in the 3500. Of course mine has 28" rubber and
yours prob has the 32 or 34's. Dad has one with
the original 34" tires and a very used motor... he
pulled once (in 3500 lb I think) but the tires are
to big for the engine. Dad pulled my 81 in a 2750
class one time (he's about 30 lbs less) and took
2nd out of 20 or more. MH listed dry shipping
weight on the 22 as 2840 (rc or std?) the 22 has
hydraulics & parts to add weight. Prob gonna start
out in the 3500 classes. Even stripped I doubt
you'll get below 3000.
Good luck & e-mail any questions - ALAN

My boys, who both weigh only a little over 100lbs are going to pull it. That should help with the weight some. We have removed the 3 point & most of the brackets from the rear & will probably remove the hyd system. It has 12.4x28 rear rubber (Firestones that are over 25 years old but have never been used). They pulled it once last year in the 3000 & 3500 classes but the engine was very tired, smoked & didn't have enough power. We are thinking about overhauling the engine & wondered if it would then have enough power at standard size or should we bore it 1/8" which we are allowed in our local club? We don't run any liquid in the tires since we only use it to run the auger & things like that.
