I have a 1967 MF 1130 and though it still runs, I have what appears to be a major problem. It has a 354 Perkins Diesel Engine, and I am getting Diesel in the Oil! At first it appeared to be the Fuel Pump. I removed it and the Diaphram had a hole in it. I replaced the pump and it appeared to slow down, but fuel is still getting in the oil. Has anyone had a similar problem and what should i do? I am debating on taking it in and have the engine re-built because I am worried about the bearings. When I change the oil, the smoking goes away until the fuel gets built back up in the oil. HELP!!!!!

I had an International 444 that was getting diesel in the oil and it turned out to be the injector pump. Had it rebuilt and solved the problem. Don't run it with much diesel in the oil or you will be looking at a major overhaul.

Check each injector by removing and re-connecting each to a fuel line. Watch the spray pattern. You may have one that is not spraying right and not allowing a good burn. The raw fuel will leak around the rings and into the crankcase.
