I just purchased this tractor from an individual and he had purchased it from an implement dealer about 7 years ago. The serial number plate is missing. What other way is there to determine the age of the tractor? We think it is either a '75 or '76. I'm looking for other clues to tie down it's age.

Thanks
Clark Cotten

My 74 has the square rear end with wet brakes. My 70 has the rounded rear with dry brakes. I think 74 was the last year sold in the states. Bill

If your in USA 165's only built in 64, 65 and 66. Only two were built in 64 about 167 built in 65. Can't tell how many were built in 66 but would not think to many.

Bill, was going by the serial stats to left. only shows three years production. Of course I have been known to be wrong on more than one occasion, ow well.

Go to Puddings webpage from two posts above. It is much more complete than the numbers to the left.
