Could someone give me some more information about my Massey-Ferguson 35X? I've read that some people state that there are no MF's made in France, but my serial number plate is in French and it reads the following: CONSTRUIT PAR
MASSEY-FERGUSON S.A.
56 AV VICTOR HUGO
PARIS - FRANCE
BREVETE S.G.D.G
TYPE: 8-25 SNMY
N DE SERIE 1005703
POIDS TOTAL AUTORISE EN CHARGE

  8 x 28 9 x 28 10 x 28
TRACTEUR ISOLE 1950 2100 2350
TRACTEUR ET REMORQUE * 5200 5800 6600

* SOUS RESERVE DUNE INSTALLATION DE FREINAGE CONFORME AUX PRESCRIPTIONS DE LARRETE MINISTERIEL DU 18 AOUT 1955 ET DUNE REC..TION ISOLEE DE LENSEMBLE

I know that the MF-35X has been made from 1962 until 1964. I can't find the exact year, because I can't find my serial number. I've found it very strange why all the serial numbers have 1 through 6 digits, and mine has got 7. Is it because it was made in France? Who can give me answers?

MF had factories all over the world. I think the French factory started in the MH days. It sounds like u have an early MF25. I think yours is a 1961-2. {going by those nos}
Some of them had the little 107 Perk
hope this helps Manuel

What you have is a French built M.F.25 not a 35 . It will have a perkins 4 clyinder engine .The front of the bonnet /Hood is quite different fron the 35 style it raises up in the centre
