Hi,

Does anyone have a complete listing of MF tractor models manufactured from 1980 to present?

Thanks

Irnman, I suspect that there are a lot more models than the ones listed. I am not familiar with all of the MF tractors but just in the 200 series I know they make (or made) a 231S (replaced the 231), a 241, a 263, a 271 etc. These are just the ones I am familiar with. If you will look at tractortips.com, they have a pretty complete listing of all kinds of tractors. You may have to spend a little time to pull up the ones made since 1980.

TP, Thanks for pointing me to the tractor tips website. That is a great source for information. It looks like I can find all the info I need there. Thanks.

First introduced 1965. 200 series - 230, 240, 250, 265, 290. First introduced end of 70's. 300 series - 362, 365, 375, 390, 390T, 398 399. First introduced mid 80's. 400 series - 465. (believed only one tractor ever manufactured in Holland). 500 series - 550, 565, 590, introduced mid 70's. 600 series - 675, 690, 698. Introduced early 80's. 2000 series - 2620, 2640, 2680, 2720 launched end of 70's. 3000 series - 3050, 3060, 3065, 3070, 3080, 3095, 3115, 3125. Introduced mid 80's.

3600 series - 3635, 3645, 3655, 3670, 3690. Introduced mid 80's. 4000 series - 4900, 4880, 4840, 4800. Introduced 79. 6100 series - 6120, 6130, 6140, 6150, 6160, 6170, 6180. 8100 series - 8110, 8110S 8120, 8130, 8140, 8150, 8160. 9000 series - 9240.
I think this is a fairly complete list of all MF tractors introduced post Massey Harris Ferguson merger. Hope this helps,
Pete.

I have looked the net for a long time and cannot find the serial number for my MF 230. I found a list, but it did not go as late as that model.
Thanks
Tom

we had a 8 series in about the mid 17s early 80s they included 148,168,178,188,all these tractors have a 6" extra spacing in the gearbox and were 6 speed multi power or 8 speed no multi power .
the 148 was a 135 with 3 extra hp 168 with a detuned 236 perkins,178 with a 236 perkins and the 188 with a 248 perkins . all these models are still comdanding very good values here in australia .
