I have a 1955 Special w/'Hitch-All', about to tear down finals, for seal, bearings, live clutch
and brake work. This deep, I thought of putting it
all in a 333/444 case, gaining lowered PTO, and
improved center link draft. If I retro a plate for
the Hi/Lo site & handle, modify my 'Hitch-All'
shaft mounts to bolt lower & to the rear, the case
might work. I question if the axle housings, gears,
mounted cylinder will interchange? Any advise,
comments? A wise update or component conflict?

My thought on this is if you want a 444 and its goodies then buy one in the long run you are better off than building a tinkermobile. Just my two cents worth good luck with whatever you do.
